Tuscan marinade

Just the right amount of flavor to brighten up some grilled steaks. This marinade is perfect for a spring or summer meal.

 

Yields

Makes enough for two 1-inch steaks

Ingredients

1          tablespoon olive oil
½         teaspoon grated lemon zest
½         teaspoon kosher salt
½         teaspoon fresh rosemary
½         teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

1.  In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Pour over steaks to fully coat and marinate for 1 hour.
2.  Drain off marinade and allow steaks to come to room temperature before cooking.
