Petite Roast

" Petite beef roast, great served warm or cold in a steak salad. "


1-2 lb. petite tender beef
1 tbsp grape seed oil
1 tbsp dried garlic, onion, salt & pepper mix (or seasoning of choice)
2 strips bacon


Bring roast to room temperature.
Spread oil on both sides of the roast also, sprinkle seasoning mix on both sides.
Place bacon strips over the top. Roast at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes depending on how rare you prefer. Avoid overcooking to avoid dry or tough results. Allow to sit for at least 5-10 minutes, slice thin, serve warm or cold. Great served warm or cold over salad.
