Chicken ginger soup

Very easy to make. Very good if you have cold and cough,like flu symptoms.
Very healthy. No fatty ingredients."


• 1/2 lb chicken cut into very small pieces.
• 2tbsp grated Ginger
• 1/2 tsp grated Garlic
• 1 1/2tspCorn flour
• 1/2 cups thin sliced or diced Cabbage+carrots+capsicum
• 2tbs vinegar.
• A pinch pepper powder
• 2 tbs Soya sauce
• 2 Sprigs coriander leaves
• 1 Spring onion
• 1 tsp Oil
• 1 Litre water
• Salt to taste


Heat oil and add fry ginger and garlic, saute until its aroma comes out.
Pour water and boil the mixture.
Now add chicken chopped cilantro,soya sauce, pepper powder, vinegar and salt. Let it boil for 5 minutes.
When chicken fully cooked, add the corn flour powder. (please dont add directly to the soup. Take a little bit water and add corn starch in it . Stir well and add this liquid to the soup)
Finish the soup with spring onions.
Ginger soup is ready to serve.
