Bacon Wrapped Asparagus


5 to 6 pieces of asparagus per serving, washed and cut into 5-6" pieces


Olive oil

Salt and pepper

Lemon (optional)

Grilling tine or toothpick


Wrap 1 to 2 pieces of bacon around your group of asparagus, pulling the bacon tight

To secure further, use grilling tine or toothpicks to hold asparagus together

Spritz with olive oil and lightly coat with salt and pepper

Place on low heat grill, turning every 4-5 minutes, for 15-20 minutes or until bacon is crispy and asparagus is tender

(Optional) Before removing from grill, squeeze a freshly cut lemon over each bunch

Note: to make turning easier, consider using a pan or basket specially made for the grill!
