Instructions
Soak Cashews for 4 hours in water and Strain.
Add the following ingredients in order as listed into blender
Cashews
Water
Pimentos
and blend for 6 mins while slowly adding spices while blending over the first 3 mins, Add the nutritional yeast slowly over the last 3 mins of blending.
Pour Mixture into 5 Qt Saute pan and heat on medium for 20 mins (do not preheat sauce pan), keep sauce moving as best as possible, i recommend the cordless stick blender with blending shaft attachment.
Sauce should start to thicken around minute 15, at that point you can slowly reduce heat.
