My Mango Basil BBQ Sauce makes a wonderfully delicious marinade as well as a dipping sauce. Use on grilled chicken, meat and seafood.

2 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 cups diced mangos
3 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
1½ cups ketchup
⅔ cup molasses
3 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
2 tablespoon brown sugar

1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and saute for 3 minutes. Add garlic and stir for 1 minute.
2. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Reduce heat to medium-low and let simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool for 15 minutes.
3. Pour bbq sauce into a Cuisinart blender and blend (or puree) until almost smooth. Use as a marinade or as a dipping sauce.
