Grand Marnier Cranberry Sauce

This is our traditional cranberry sauce for our Thanksgiving meal.




1 bag fresh cranberries (cleaned and picked over) 1 c. sugar ¾ c. water ½ c. Grand Marnier 1 can Mandarin oranges (drained)

Place sugar and water in a saucepan. Turn heat to medium and when the sugar dissolves, add the bag of cranberries. Reduce heat to low and cook until you hear the cranberries start popping, about 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and add the Grand Marnier and Mandarin oranges. Cool and refrigerate.
