Spanish Pork Chops

A delightful, easy pork chop recipe that is sure to make your heart melt




6 Pork Chops 1 cup of uncooked rice 1 8oz can of tomato sauce 1½cup of water 1 foil pkg of taco seasoning 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese 1 green pepper sliced in rings

Lightly brown the chops with salt & pepper Spread in baking dish Sprinkle the uncooked rice over the pork chops Mix together the tomato sauce, water, and taco seasoning. Pour gently over the rice & chops making sure all the rice is covered. Cover with foil Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees Uncover and sprinkle the cheese over the top and layer the green peppers over the chops Bake for another 10-15 minutes. Served w/salad and warm tortillas
