Tasty baked spaghetti smothered in bubbly cheddar cheese....SO good! A big favorite in my family!!
1 med. white onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 jar of Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
1 small can of tomato paste
⅓ cup water
⅓ cup fresh chopped parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 small can mushrooms
½ lb cooked thin spaghetti
1 lb ground beef
1½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Cook pasta until done but still firm to the bite. Set aside.
Brown ground beef. Drain and put into large mixing bowl.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Add chopped onion, green pepper, garlic, mushrooms, red pepper, black pepper, salt, parsley, basil, and pasta sauce to mixing bowl with the ground beef.
Mix ingredients well.
Fold the tomato paste and water into mixture.
Gently fold in pasta and place mixture into glass baking dish or casserole dish.
Cover with foil and bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top of the mixture and bake another 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve with garlic bread.
