Nothing says Independence Day like Ribs. If it's too hot too cook in the oven or on the grill, just use your Cuisinart electric pressure cooker to make these ribs. "

2 1/2 pounds country style pork ribs
1 onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
1 whole clove
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup beer
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar

Place ribs in the pressure cooker. Add onion, garlic, seasonings and beer. Cover and cook on high 30 minutes. Release pressure gradually. Ladle out all but about 1/2 cup of the beer and drippings. Remove and discard bay leaf and clove. Combine barbecue sauce, mustard and sugar and pour over ribs. Cover and cook 10 minutes on high. Release pressure gradually.
