½ cup sugar
⅓ cup brown sugar
½ cup butter (softened)
½ cup peanut butter
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
½ cup quick or regular oatmeal
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt

1. Beat sugars, butter, peanut butter vanilla and egg with wooden spoon until creamy and well blended.
2. Mix in flour, oats, baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoons about 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool one minute before removing from cooking sheet.
