Ingredients

• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 1/2 cups whole milk
• 3 cups whipping cream
• 1 teaspoon mint extract
• 1 cup mini chocolate chips
• Green food colouring (optional)

Instructions

1. Put sugar and milk in a large bowl and mix for 3 minutes using stand or electric mixer
2. Add the whipping cream and mint extract (if you want a green colour for you ice cream add 3 drops of liquid food colouring, or dip the tip of a butter knife in gel food colouring and wipe it on your mixer’s beater, you can add more once mixed if desired)
3. Turn on ice cream maker and pour in mixture
4. Allow ice cream maker to run for 20 minutes
5. Pour in mini chocolate chips
6. Allow ice cream maker to run an additional 5 to 10 minutes until desired consistency
7. Transfer to container(s) for freezing and place in freezer until firm (about 3 hours, depending on your freezer)
