Grandma's Caramel Peach Pie

My Grandma who is now deceased would make this pie during the holidays and she would only make 2. So if you were slow to eat you could miss out.




Caramel Filling 1-Cup Sugar 1-Cup Evaporated Milk ½ Stick Oleo 3 ½ Tablespoons Flour 1-Teaspoon Vanilla

Mix all of the above ingredients together in saucepan until it thickens. Pour into a baked 9- inch Pie shell and let cool. When cool top with: 1 small container of Cool Whip, 1 large can of drained Peach Slices Drain peach slices and mix with cool whip the spoon on top of mixture in pie shell. Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.
