This is a warm, moist delicious variation of the traditional pound cake with a touch of lemony flavor to bring out the zest and zeal. A wonderful treat after any meal, especially Thanksgiving, or a "just because dessert."
3 cups cake or regular flour
3 cups sugar
1 pound of butter (Yikes�?�)
5 eggs (Oh my!)
1 cup 7up (room temperature)
½ teaspoon vanilla
¾ teaspoon lemon flavoring

mix 7up and vanilla and lemon flavoring in separate bowl and set aside
cream butter & sugar together until almost smooth
gradually add eggs and flour, keep beating
add 7up mix to batter until smooth but not soupy
pour batter into prepared bundt pan
bake in 350' oven for 35-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cake comes back clean.
