3 cups flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1½ cup sugar 1 cup butter 4 eggs ½ cup milk ½ cup orange marmalade jelly 1 pound red candied cherries 1 pound candied pineapple 3 cups nuts pecans/ walnuts

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. 2. Grease and line 2 loaf pans with tin foil and then grease foil. Put 3 cups of water in a pan (9x13) in the bottom of the oven during the entire baking time. 3. Beat sugar butter and eggs. Sift together flour salt and baking powder. Add to butter and sugar, eggs, alternating the milk and orange marmalade jelly. 4. In a very large bowl mix cherries, pineapple and nuts. Pour cake mixture over fruit and stir. Pour into prepared pans. Bake at 250 degrees for three hours. Put toothpick in the cake to see if the pick comes out clean. Freezes well. Enjoy.
