⅔ cup softened butter
¾ cup white sugar
1 egg
4 teaspoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoon ginger
2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups all purpose flour
1&½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
In a large bowl, with a mixer at medium speed, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg, milk and vanilla. Blend in spices, flour, baking powder and salt until well mixed. Divide dough in half and chill for 30 minutes. Heat oven to 375F (190C). Grease 2 large cookie sheets. On a lightly floured surface,roll out half the cookie dough to ⅛th inch thick,flour cookie cutters cut cookies and place on cookie sheets bake 8 minutes or until lightly brown
