Chocolate Cream Cheese Fondue

Chocolate Cream Cheese Fondue is a deliciously creamy and romantic dessert for two and, of course, goes well with fresh strawberries, pineapples, grapes, bananas or kiwi as well as square of pound cake, sponge cake, peanut butter cake or even shortbread cookies. (Any dense cake will work) I have served this up for some of those quiet evenings at home with just my husband and me as well as for those nights when it's another couple enjoying the evening with us. It's creamy, smooth and delicious.

Ingredients

1 Tablespoon of unsalted butter ⅓ cup granulated sugar 3 Tablespoons of cocoa powder 4 to 5 Tbsp evaporated milk 1 teaspoon of real vanilla 1 cup mini marshmallows 4 oz cream cheese

Instructions

Bring butter, sugar, cocoa and milk to a boil, stirring constantly over medium high heat. Boil about 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla and marshmallows. Stir until melted. Add 4 oz of cream cheese and stir into melted mixture. Pour into small fondue pot or serve warm in a small dish.
