Royal Icing - 1 CupCuisinart Original Recipe
2½ cups confectioners’ sugar
1 large egg white, beaten
2 tablespoons whole milk
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Add the confectioners’ sugar to the bowl of the Cuisinart Hand Stand Mixer, fitted with the chef’s whisk, and mix on speed 1. With the motor running, slowly add the egg white. Once the egg white is completely combined, slowly add the milk and lemon juice. Continue to whisk on speed 1, gradually rising to speed three until the mixture has formed soft peaks.
