Brenda's Jello DessertUser Submitted Recipe
1 small box strawberry Jello (may use sugar free)
1 small can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup sugar (or Splenda)
1 8 oz Cool Whip (may use sugar free)
1 8 oz container strawberry cream cheese
1 can strawberry pie filling
1 graham cracker crust
sliced strawberries (optional)
Mix pineapple, sugar, and Jello together and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let cool. Blend together Cool Whip and cream cheese. Add cooled mixture and pie filling, blending to a smooth texture. Spoon into cracker crust and cover with berries. Keep refrigerated.
Variations: may use cherry Jello; pineapple cream cheese, cherry pie filling or any combinations to suit your preference.
