Chocolate Rum BallsUser Submitted Recipe
1 cup chocolate chips
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
1/2 cup rum
2 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafer cookies
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup chopped nuts, I like walnuts
Melt chocolate chips over hot water in a double boiler. Add corn syrup and rum.
Combine vanilla wafers, powdered sugar, and nuts. Combine all let stand 30m minutes at room temperature.
Shape into 1 inch balls, roll in powdered sugar. Put in zip lock bags, refrigerate, and let ripen for 3 days before eating.
