High Power Breakfast Smoothie

Great way to start your day or have as a meal anytime. Also use as a pre race energy meal or a post race recovery meal


one 32 ounce or two 16 ounce servings


1 ½ cup Total Cereal 1 cup fiber one Cereal 1 cup Oatmeal ¼ cup Pomegranate Juice ¼ cup Orange Juice ½ cup Milk or Soy Milk 1 Frozen Banana (cut in quarters) 1 Frozen Apple (cut in quarters) ¼ cup Frozen Black Berries ¼ cup Frozen Raspberries ¼ cup Frozen Blueberries 1 serving Protein Powder (soy or whey) 2 tablespoon Flax Seed

Using Cuisinart Food Processor, finely pulverize the fiber one, Total and Oatmeal to a fine powder and set aside (store extra in refrigerator). In blender, add Pomegranate juice, Orange Juice, milk (or Soy milk) with ⅓ to ½ cup of powdered cereal mix, flax seed and protein powder, blend for 30 seconds. Add frozen apples and bananas cut in quarters and frozen berries. Blend until completely mixed.
