Breakfast Casserole


1 box restaurant style croutons - (mrs. Cubbisons garlic & cheese - but any seasoned crouton will do)
1 bulk sausage – browned (turkey or any kind)
1 dozen eggs
milk (as much as you would use to make scrambled eggs)
1 pkg shredded cheese (kraft's mexican blend is a good one)
1 small can diced ortega chilies


Brown sausage. Drain grease from sausage. Beat eggs til fluffy. Add enough milk to change color - or as much as you would use to make scrambled eggs. Stir in remainder of ingredients, leaving croutons til last.
Pour into greased (or pam sprayed) 13x9 casserole dish. Cover and place in refrigerator over night.
Bake in 350 oven for about 30-40 minutes. (until set firm and a little browned)
This has been made with chunks of ham or spicy Italian sausage.
