Ingredients

½          cup butter
¼          cup olive oil
3           large garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
1           tablespoon fresh parsley leaves, chopped
½          loaf Italian bread (8 inches long), halved horizontally
             Kosher salt, to taste
             freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2           teaspoons Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Put the butter, oil, garlic, and parsley in a small saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat until the butter has melted, stirring occasionally.
  2. Brush the garlic butter on top of each piece of bread. Season with salt and pepper, and then sprinkle the Parmesan evenly over each piece of bread.
  3. Select Bake, and set the time to 6 minutes and the temperature to 350°F. Press Start/Stop.
  4. When the air fryer is preheated, carefully place the bread in the basket, and then slide the basket back into the air fryer. Set the time for 4 minutes, and then press Start/Stop. Bake until the bread is nicely golden, adding 1 to 2 minutes of baking time if necessary.
  5. Carefully transfer from the basket to a cutting board, and allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
