-If your slushie gets too warm in the blender (this might happen if you don't have a high-power blender) simply blend in a few more ice cubes or refrigerate for a while.

- For a Chocolate-Strawberry Slushy, add 1-2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder + 1 extra tablespoon honey (or maple syrup if vegan)
¾ cup frozen strawberries
1 cup ice
½ cup unsweetened, unflavored almond milk (or other non-dairy milk of choice), plus more as needed
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup, or to taste (optional)
