Marinated Mushrooms

Can be doubled because these disappear.


1 lb. fresh mushrooms
1/4 cip olive oil
1/2 cup wine vinegar
1/2 onion grated or finely chopped
1 clove arlic, minced


If mushrooms are small, leave the stems on, if large, remove the stems for anothr use. Cook the mushrooms in boiling, salted water for 10 minutes. Drain well. Make a dressing with the remaining ingredients and mariante at least 12 hours. Serve with toothpicks.
