Strawberry Sorbet - 1-1/2 cups

Adjust the amount of sugar in this recipe based on your liking and the natural sweetness of the strawberries—riper strawberries are sweeter. 


Makes about 1½ cups


1½         tablespoons fresh lemon juice

3             tablespoons granulated sugar (or less depending on sweetness
of strawberries and personal preference)

1             pound strawberries, hulled

Put all ingredients, in the order listed, into the blender jar. Secure lid.

Select Speed 8 and press Start. Blend until fully smooth, about 20 seconds.

Pour strawberry mixture into an ice cube tray. Freeze until completely frozen, at least 12 hours.

When completely frozen, put the frozen strawberry cubes into the blender jar. Secure lid. Select Ice Crush function and press Start.

Serve immediately or store in the freezer in an airtight container.
