1 16-ounce can plums in heavy syrup, drain and reserve syrup 1½ ounces crème de cassis 1½ ounces brandy 1 tablespoon grenadine syrup 1 cup vanilla ice cream 4 ice cubes cinnamon for dusting sliced candied ginger
Remove and discard plum pits. Place plums, crème de cassis, brandy, grenadine, and ice cream in Cuisinart® SmartPower Premier™ Blender jar. Press ON. Press High and blend for 20 seconds. With blender running, remove Measure/Pour Cup and add ice cubes through the lid, blend for an additional 15 to 20 seconds, until smooth and creamy. Pour into serving glasses – chilled martini glasses are good. Dust lightly with cinnamon and garnish with a slice of candied ginger. Serve immediately.
