Healthy Jalapeno Poppers

When the breading is removed from a traditional jalapeño popper, not only is it healthier but the flavor, and spice, of the jalapeño really comes to the forefront.


Makes 12 poppers


6          medium jalapenos, cut in half, seeds and ribs removed
¾         cup Chihuahua or Oaxaca cheese, shredded
4          slices thin sliced bacon, cut into thirds

  1. Stuff the jalapeño halves with about 1 tablespoon shredded cheese, then wrap with 1 piece of cut bacon.
  2. Arrange the assembled poppers in the AirFryer Basket. Place the basket in the AirFryer. Select AirFry, and set the time to 12 minutes and the temperature to 400°F. When the poppers are finished cooking, remove from the basket. Allow to cool for a minute or two before eating.
