5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 teaspoons freshly ground black
pepper, divided
pinch kosher salt, plus more to taste
16 cups popped popcorn
¾ cup finely grated Romano cheese

1. In a small mixing bowl, stir together the butter,
1 teaspoon of the pepper, and the pinch of salt.
2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the popcorn with
the butter mixture and then the cheese until
fully coated.
