Ingredients

  • 1cup pure maple syrup
  • 1½cups fresh blueberries
  • 1pinch kosher salt
  • 1pinch grated orange zest (optional)

Preparation

  1. 1. Put all ingredients in a small saucepan
  2. set over medium heat. Bring to a boil; reduce
  3. heat to maintain a strong simmer to allow the
  4. mixture to thicken slightly, about 5 minutes.
  5. 2. Strain, if desired, and serve.
