FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

It replaces the standard bowl setup and the slinger disc sends sliced or shredded food out a chute into whatever container you put underneath, so you're not stopping to empty a full bowl. Use it for high-volume jobs like a a block of cheese, a bag of potatoes, or a batch of slaw.

Halve larger items like potatoes, big onions, or blocks of cheese. Trim one end flat and load flat-side down and use the medium pusher for wide items and the small pusher for slim ones like carrots, which keeps them upright for a cleaner cut.

Start with a completely clean and dry continuous feed bowl, since any moisture makes shreds cling. Cut one end of each piece flat, load flat-side down, keep the feed tube loosely packed and use steady pressure.
