Ingredients
- 1 pound asparagus
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon kosher or sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
- Preheat the toaster oven to 425°F on the Bake setting with the rack in position B or C.
- Wash and thoroughly dry asparagus and trim the rough ends.
- Line the baking pan with aluminum foil. Put asparagus on the prepared pan and toss with the olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, until the asparagus is tender.
- Serve immediately.
