Asian-Style Frizzled Green Beans

Makes 2 to 3 servings


Ingredients

Nonstick cooking spray
12 ounces green beans, trimmed
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
¼ teaspoon plus pinch kosher salt, divided
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 teaspoon soy sauce
½ teaspoon rice vinegar
½ teaspoon granulated sugar
Crushed red chile pepper (optional for heat)

Instructions

1. Place the AirFryer Basket onto the Baking Pan and coat with nonstick cooking spray. Reserve.
2. Toss the green beans with the oil, ¼ teaspoon of salt and crushed
garlic clove in a mixing bowl and spread evenly onto the prepared
basket. Place into the oven in the upper rack position. Set to AirFry
at 400°F. Cook for 10 minutes.
3. While the green beans are cooking, stir together the soy sauce, rice
vinegar and sugar together in the mixing bowl. After 10 minutes,
remove the green beans from the oven and toss together with the
soy mixture in the mixing bowl. Spread again in the basket and
return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
4. Toss the beans with a pinch of salt and the crushed red chile pepper
if desired. Serve immediately.
