Chocolate Cookie Crust

  • 24 chocolate wafer cookies, about ½ box
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup (½ stick) unsalted butter, melted

  1. Insert the large metal chopping blade into the medium work bowl of the Cuisinart® Food Processor. Add the cookies and pulse 10 times. Add the sugar and pulse an additional 5 times. With the machine running, drizzle in the melted butter until incorporated. Press crust into a 9-inch pie or cake plate and bake in a 375°F oven for 15 minutes before filling.
