Ingredients

  • 12 ripe, yet firm figs
  • 1 ounce Gorgonzola
  • 6 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced

Preparation

  1. Place Cuisinart Griddler or Grill and Griddle in open position fitted with the grill plates; preheat to Sear.
  2. Cut each fig in half lengthwise. Place a small piece of Gorgonzola in the center of each cut fig. Wrap each fig completely with a slice of prosciutto. If desired secure with a toothpick.
  3. Grill each side until golden and so the cheese has melted, about 10 to 15 minutes total.
