Makes about 16 cups
There’s nothing a little (or a lot of) cacio e pepe literally cheese and pepper can’t make infinitely better.

Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper, divided
- pinch kosher salt, plus more to taste
- 16 cups popped popcorn
- ¾ cup finely grated Romano cheese
Preparation
- In a small mixing bowl, stir together the butter,1 teaspoon of the pepper, and the pinch of salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the popcorn with the butter mixture and then the cheese until fully coated.
- Season with remaining pepper and salt to taste.
- Serve immediately.
