Ingredients

  • 1pound large shrimp,
  • approximately 16, peeled,
  • deveined and rinsed
  • ½teaspoon kosher salt, divided
  • ¼teaspoon freshly ground black
  • pepper, divided
  • 1teaspoon olive oil
  • 3tablespoons unsalted butter,
  • divided
  • 4garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • ½cup grape tomatoes, halved
  • ⅛teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2tablespoons fresh parsley,
  • chopped, divided
  • 6large basil leaves, torn into
  • pieces, divided
  • 2tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2tablespoons dry white wine

Preparation

  1. 1. Dry shrimp well and season both sides
  2. with ¼ teaspoon salt and ¹/8 teaspoon
  3. pepper.
  4. 2. Assemble the Cuisinart® Stack5® with the
  5. baking pan and select 400°F. Add the oil
  6. to the pan.
  7. 3. Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp to
  8. sear, about 1 to 2 minutes per side.
  9. 4. Remove and reserve shrimp once seared.
  10. Add 1 tablespoon butter and the garlic to
  11. the pan. Once the garlic is fragrant, add
  12. the grape tomatoes, crushed red pepper,
  13. remaining salt and pepper, and half of
  14. the herbs.
  15. 5. Add the lemon juice and white wine and
  16. bring the liquid to a simmer. When the
  17. liquid has reduced slightly, whisk in the
  18. remaining butter using a nonstick whisk.
  19. 6. When the butter is incorporated, stir in
  20. reserved shrimp with remaining herbs.
  21. 7. Serve immediately in shallow bowls.
