Grilled Chicken Wings
Grilled Chicken Wings
Perfect for a tailgate, camping, or a family Friday night. These wings have an amazing rub that pops when grilled over an open flame. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
Ingredients
- 2 Pounds chicken winglets and drumettes, trimmed
- 1 Tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 Teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon celery seed
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- ¼ cup Cuisinart Blue Ribbon Chicken Seasoning
Preparation
- Pre-heat Cuisinart grill on HIGH for 5 minutes
- In a small bowl combine seasonings and stir to combine
- In a large bowl drizzle chicken wings with oil, add seasoning mix and toss until wings are completely coated
- Lower heat to LOW to avoid flare-ups from the oil and spread wings evenly across the grill grate
- Increase heat to MEDIUM and cook wings, turning every five minutes, until they reach an internal temperature of 165ºF and chicken is crispy
- Cook time is approximately 15 minutes
