Sour Snow Cone
Makes 6 snow cones
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cups water
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 (0.13-oz.) envelopes unsweetened pink lemonade drink mix
- 1 (0.13-oz.) envelope cherry drink mix
- 24 ice cubes
Preparation
- In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Bring to a boil, and boil for about 1 minute, stirring often until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, and stir in the powdered drink mixes.
- Allow to cool in the refrigerator, and store in a container that will be easy to pour.
- Prepare the snow cones using the ice cubes.
- Pour the prepared flavored syrup mixture over shaved ice when serving.
