Holiday Pumpkin Pie

Makes 6 servings

Our family usually enjoy this pie at Thanksgiving or Christmas. But it's so delicious, that's it's really great any time of the year.

Ingredients

  • For 1 9 inches pie shell:
  • 1cup evaporated milk
    ½cup dark brown sugar
    ⅓cup kahlua
    1½cup canned pumpkin
    ¼cup light corn Syrup
    1½teaspoonpumpkin pie spice
    ½teaspoon salt
    2eggs, beaten
  • Topping:
  • 3tablespoon butter, softened
    ⅓cup dark brown sugar
    ½cup flour
    ½cup pecans, chopped

Preparation

  1. 1.Bake pie shell at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
  2. 2.Place all other ingredients (except for topping ingredients) into a mixer and mix thoughly. Pour into pie shell and bake at 375 degrees for 60 minutes or until knife blade comes out clean.
  3. 3.Mix the ingredients for the topping by hand.
  4. 4. Once the pie is done, add the topping and bake for an additional 15 min.
