Holiday Pumpkin Pie
Makes 6 servings
Our family usually enjoy this pie at Thanksgiving or Christmas. But it's so delicious, that's it's really great any time of the year.
Ingredients
- For 1 9 inches pie shell:
- 1cup evaporated milk
½cup dark brown sugar
⅓cup kahlua
1½cup canned pumpkin
¼cup light corn Syrup
1½teaspoonpumpkin pie spice
½teaspoon salt
2eggs, beaten - Topping:
- 3tablespoon butter, softened
⅓cup dark brown sugar
½cup flour
½cup pecans, chopped
Preparation
- 1.Bake pie shell at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
- 2.Place all other ingredients (except for topping ingredients) into a mixer and mix thoughly. Pour into pie shell and bake at 375 degrees for 60 minutes or until knife blade comes out clean.
- 3.Mix the ingredients for the topping by hand.
- 4. Once the pie is done, add the topping and bake for an additional 15 min.
