Parmesan Herb Bread

White bread embedded with herbs and Parmesan cheese.


20 thin slices


4 cups flour 1 pkg yeast (3 teaspoon) 1½ cups warm water 1 Tbsp sugar 4 Tbsp olive oil 1 teaspoon salt ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese ¼ cup equal parts of dried Thyme, Basil, Parsley and Rosemary.

Mix warm water and yeast until dissolved and bubbly. Add Salt, sugar. Mix well. Slowly add flour and oil, mix using hands until dough no longer sticks. Kneed until firm ball is formed. Place in oiled bowl, and cover w/ towel. Let rise 2-3 hours. Punch down dough and re-form into ball. Place in oiled bowl for 1 hour Form to fit in bread pan, let rise 30 minutes Bake in preheated oven for 375° for 25- 30 minutes.
