Frequently Asked Questions
Choose Dry for foods without surface moisture, like cheese, nuts, coffee, bread and raw vegetables. Choose Moist for marinated meats, fish and cut fruit. Select your food type before pressing Vacuum & Seal and let the sealer do the rest.
A flashing button means it is available to use. When all available lights are flashing, the sealer is in standby mode or has just finished a seal cycle. Press the side release buttons to open the lid. Pulse can be used with the lid open when vacuum sealing containers through the accessory port.
Vacuum sealing works best with meats, poultry, fish, hard cheeses, nuts, coffee, bread, and leftovers. Freeze soft foods until firm before sealing and use the Moist setting for marinated foods. Some vegetables may naturally release gases after sealing. Always refrigerate or freeze perishables, and keep liquids out of vacuum bags.
