Dad's Turtle Burger


1/2 lb Ground beef per pattie
1 Egg per pound
Sharp cheddar cheese
Green peppers


First, thoroughly mix together approximately one egg for each pound of ground beef that you will be using. Next, for each turtle burger, use about 1/2 pound of the ground beef mixture. Divide the ground beef into two patties, of roughly equal size. Place on top of one patty a slice each of cheese, onion, tomato, and green pepper. Add the second patty on top of the cheese and vegetables. Now, fold the edge together, and thoroughly seal the patty, completely, all around its circumference. Grill these, about five minutes on each side, turning once.
