chopped carrots, celery, onion, green pepper 1/2 cup each;
1 teaspoon cumin, ginger, herbes de province and sweet paprika
7 cups water
1 cinnamon stick
2 cups dry black beans
2 teaspoons salt
1 cuisinart electric pressure cooker
Saute carrots,celery,onions and green peppers in pressure cooker, til veggies caramelized.
Add dry beans (soaking not needed, if using cuisinart pressure cooker)
Add cumin, ginger, herbes de province and sweet paprika to pressure cooker.
Place lid on pressure cooker and lock into place;
Press: Menu button on pressure cooker to select "high pressure";
Press: Time button and hold til 90 appears on pressure time screen;
Press: Start Bbutton
