Chicken and Wild Rice SoupUser Submitted Recipe
1/2 cup peeled and coined carrots
1/2 cup small dice celery
1/2 cup broccoli crowns
1/2 cup diced onions
2 cups chicken broth
1 can Campell's cheddar cheese
2 cups milk
1 cup cooked wild rice
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
1 cup cubed, cooked chicken
1. Cook wild rice according to package directions. In a deep soup pot, combine carrots, celery, broccoli, onion, chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Add cheddar cheese soup, milk and wild rice. Return to a boil.
2. Make a roux with the flour and butter. Cook 2 minutes but do not brown. Add to soup. cook soup until vegetables are done, about 10 to 15 minutes.
