Cheesy Potato Soup


2 tablespoons butter
1 green onion & 1/2 small yellow onion chopped fine
1 small carrot chopped fine
1 stalk celery chopped
3/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 container Regular Philly Creme Cheese for Cooking
6 tablespoons Cheez Whiz
5 cups milk or 1/2 & 1/2
1 lb Velveeta Cheese cubed
5 strips of crisp bacon crumbled
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon Tabasco
3 -4 cans 14 1/2 cans of diced potatoes
Cheddar cheese, sour cream & scallions to garnish


Saute carrots celery & onion in butter
Add chicken broth and simmer
Add 1/2 container of Philly Cream Cheese for Cooking stir till melted
Add 6 tablespoons of Cheese Whiz stir till melted
Add milk and melt in Velveeta Cheese
Add crumbled bacon, parsley, Tobasco & potatoes
Garnish with Cheddar cheese, sour cream, & scallions & bacon
