Hungarian Mushroom Soup


3 TBS butter
2 Tsp lemon juice
2 Cups chopped onion
3 TBS flour
2 Lbs sliced mushrooms
2 Cups water
1 Tsp salt
1 Cup half & half
3 Tsp dill
1/2 Cup sour cream
5 TBS paprika
2 TBS tamair or soy sauce


Saute onions in 2 TBS butter. Add dill, tamari, paprika, lemon juice, salt and water.
Stir until well mixed. Add mushrooms and cover. In separate pot make a roux with 1 TBS butter, flour and half & half. Whisking constantly, stir in sour cream. When mushrooms start boiling, add roux, simmer 10 minutes.
Garnish with parsley.
