This is a great Wild Rice side dish that goes great with Turkey.
1 Box of Uncle Bens Long Grain and Wild rice (Original Recipe 6 oz),1 cup of fresh mushrooms sliced, 1 can (4 oz. of water chestnuts sliced, 2 teaspoons of dried onion soup mix, 1 can of cream of chicken soup, 1 cup of chicken broth (low sodium) 1 and ¼ cup of water.

Pour the wild rice and seasoning packet into a baking dish. (2 qt round works best with lid) Add 1 and ¼ cup of water and 1 cup of chicken broth. Stir then Microwave on high for 10 mins with lid on. Saute sliced mushrooms until browned and add to the rice. Drain the water chestnuts and chop up into smaller pieces and add to the rice. Add two teasp. of the onion soup mix and 1 can of cream of chicken soup. Stir and put in oven at 350 degrees. Total cooking time approx 1 hour. (Stir after ½ hour. Then put back in for remaining 30 mins.)
