1 20lb. Turkey 1 package of herbed stuffing 8 pieces of toast, diced 3 ribs celery, diced 1 small onion, minced Giblets from the turkey, boiled and diced Reserved liquid from boiled Giblets 1 tsp. sage 1 tsp. poultry seasoning 1 egg, beaten salt and pepper butter
Remove Giblets from turkey, rinse and put into a sauce pan with 4 cups water. Boil giblets for about 30 minutes or until done. Meanwhile, toast the bread and crumble into a bowl along with the package of herbed stuffing. Add all other ingredients except butter including the giblets. Refrigerate stuffing overnight. In the morning, rinse and dry the turkey. Stuff the turkey with the stuffing. Sprinkle top of turkey with sage, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper and pats of butter. Cook turkey in a 350 degree oven, basting once or twice. Add 1 cup of water to the bottom of your pan.
