Turkey Stuffing

This is the stuffing my mom makes every year. The turkey liver adds an interesting and subtle flavor to the stuffing. We put stuffing in the turkey too, but without the liver.




1 box stuffing mix (we use Pepperidge Farm) 1 egg 1 can chicken broth 1 stalk celery, diced small 1 turkey liver from your turkey, diced small 1 small onion, diced small Dash poultry seasoning Salt and pepper to taste Oil or butter for sauteing

Saute celery, onion and turkey liver until vegetables are soft. Mix all ingredients together and bake in a casserole dish at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes depending on how done you like your stuffing to be.
